Sadly, the way the course is set up is that the prof poses the question, lets the students say whatever they want for two weeks, then closes the board down to grade participation. The prof never addresses what was said (posted to Oral Sex)

Well, Clarkson also claims that she could "never be a lesbian" http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/090203/entertainment/centertainment_us_clarkson_1 She believes that women (such as herself) are neurotic and crazy while men are the rational, calming sex which women need to make them less "crazy". There's really a strong, almost fundamental desire in America to believe that life is basically fair and that individual effort and willpower can trump social patterns/adversities. e.g., in the book _Why Americans Hate Welfare_, Martin Gilens quotes some interesting studies (posted to Why ignore misogyny?
