That's a good point...I'm not sure why I said it that way. I was trying to point out that the relationship between the two women is the uniting factor in the story, not that the fathers didn't matter. I'll have (posted to Why does being a wife erase your life's accomplishments?)

I am very happy that she is going to speak out. For me to speak out was/is the best healing process. I think it also puts a face and a voice to domestic violence. I think we hurt the cause (posted to Rihanna Speaks Out for the First Time. )
The thing I keep forgetting about this is how heartbreakingly young Rihanna is. I know it's hardly uncommon for girls and women even younger than she is to be abused by their partners, but Rihanna's case is a tough reminder. (posted to Rihanna Speaks Out for the First Time. )
