- Bingo. The bystander passivity wasn't from fear of being injured so much as believing that avoiding butting in to others' business is more important than preventing violence. That was my postmortem read, at least. (posted to Apathy in the Face of Violence)
- I think we have to separate race and culture here, no? I take unapologetic issue with certain facets of Japanese culture, but obviously these are evolved cultural norms and nothing to do with being ethnically Japanese. (posted to Apathy in the Face of Violence)

- I think that your readers, good feminists from any wave, would be more comfortable with this post if you titled it something along the lines of "The misuse of the term PMS has further marginalized women" which is, of course, (posted to PMS is a Social Construction)
