Men won't suffer problems of anorexia and bulimia for a simple reason: Being very thin for a male is seen as a bad thing. I can say that as a transsexual woman who has experienced both sides of people's comments (posted to The Male Gaze and the Beauty of the Female Form)
Furthermore, men are not encouraged to change their bodies in order to appeal to women. They take for granted that male bodies are not as attractive as female ones, but are only rarely encouraged to lose weight and never encouraged (posted to The Male Gaze and the Beauty of the Female Form)
I actually know a few het men who crossdress. They do this, primarily, because they think women are so hot, they want to look like one. They're not transgendered, they're not gay, one is overweight and embarrassed to wear a (posted to The Male Gaze and the Beauty of the Female Form)
