I agree and I also commend ohmissjulie in that vein for speaking out because Mormon leaders generally don't like dissent or questioning or different points of view etc. If you question, it's the devil tempting you. I'm serious. That is (posted to Mormon, Feminist, and Kind of Afraid.)
Ugh, this is so upsetting. First she was obviously called names and disrespected, then she was beat up for standing up for herself, and now she's dead! Why are some people so afraid of other human beings who just happen (posted to Transgender woman murdered: Where's the justice for Duanna Johnson?)

It's not about being open minded. I don't see how a feminist can also be an active Mormon that really believes in and follows the Mormon religion. How they view women is the complete opposite of feminist beliefs. It's like (posted to Mormon, Feminist, and Kind of Afraid.)
