- The responses, by and large, are not to your post. I agree with your post. The male gaze is damaging to both men and women, and by far affects women more, no comparison. I'm with you on the inability of (posted to The Male Gaze and the Beauty of the Female Form)

- Men won't suffer problems of anorexia and bulimia for a simple reason: Being very thin for a male is seen as a bad thing. I can say that as a transsexual woman who has experienced both sides of people's comments (posted to The Male Gaze and the Beauty of the Female Form)
