I get nervous when I see these types of questions raised in feminist communities. First, I understand them and have some of these worries myself. But, second, it seems important to keep them in check. It becomes easy to think (posted to Stand By Your Man Woman)

Great points...There is a valid point to be made that this will further divide the communities. BUT I don't think the school sends the message that allies from the straight community are any less important. Nor does it send the (posted to Chicago May Get "Gay-Friendly" High School)
