- I agree. I sounds strange when written out to ask before initiating physical contact, but in reality a lot of guys I know have done this and it actually makes them look confident and respectful at the same time. (posted to Should I Feel Violated?)
- You can't even rely on enthusiastic approval, absent at least some additional context. I have female friends that I hug enthusiastically, but I would get rather weirded out if any of them took that as license to test the waters (posted to Should I Feel Violated?)
- There, that's why you feel violated. He acts like he is your friend, but he doesn't respect the boundaries that you set. It's not necessarily about being touched, either, though it is in this case. People can do that in (posted to Should I Feel Violated?)
