I agree that the patriarchal double-standard isn't an adequate explanation for bullying on its own. But that hurdle is an important reality, and the fact that this article doesn't give it serious weight is telling, and betrays the author's bias. Ah. Well, I would say that each individual is responsible for her own mobility (or not). And the companies are responsible for creating a hostility-free environment. This is a great post. I have been reading Phyllis Chesler's 'Woman's Inhumanity to Woman' and it has been very enlightening.
