I remember seeing similar ads in T stations not long after my abortion. They were on the other side of the rails safe from my graffiti anger. I was already burning from the judgmental glare of our culture. I could (posted to Anti-choice ads at the train station.)
I remember my dad poking/grabbing my belly once when I was in college, my mother's obsessive dieting/projection and all the comments. Eventually of course I internalized all of it, media/entertainment industry, fashion, people on the street, co workers, friends etc. (posted to Living at home Part 1: I don't see a fat person when I look in the mirror. )
