Vanessa is a 28-year old freelance writer and blogging consultant living in New York City. She has worked with the Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Girls for Gender Equity, NARAL Pro-Choice New York and the National Institute for Reproductive Health. Vanessa is a graduate of the BA program in Women's and Gender Studies at Rutgers University and is a co-founder of The Real Hot 100, a grassroots media project that challenges unrealistic images of women in the media. She also blogs about international women’s issues at UN Dispatch.
