I think there a lot of reasons that abstinence falls into the category of "simple but not easy" for a lot of people. Abstinence is obviously a very simple matter. We all know how to not do something -- you (posted to Abstinence for Teen Moms)

We also have an adopted child and I don't think it's changed how either of us thought of things. Being a stay-at-home Dad has definitely made my all ready liberal husband more so. But being the "bread winner" has had (posted to Weekly Feminist Reader)
