- Possible, sure. It's sometimes difficult to balance not wanting to be ableist, by trying to keep people with disabilities from doing things they actually are capable of, with the realities of what they aren't. The daughter, who had developmental delays,
(posted to Pregnant 17 year-old with mild learning disabilities goes on run from social workers) - Ah, but what counts as 'putting someone into danger' for legal purposes? Certainly, if I'm speeding and driving drunk and hit someone, that is on me. I was horrifically negligent. Most pregnancies, however, would not fit that analogy. After a
(posted to Questions for the Anti-Choice (More Commonly Known As Pro-Life) Community) - I can't answer directly for the poster you were replying to, but there is a school of thought that a linear view of history/storytelling is more 'masculine' in approach (which is also pretty Western) and dominates our culture, while the

- Why would they know when the coverage of these new standards doesn't say a word about different risk factors for black women? Actually, when I first heard this news on the radio they DID specifically mention that black women are (posted to New Mammogram Guidelines Could Disproportionately Endanger Black Women)

In fact, from what I can tell feminism itself (or at least (posted to New Mammogram Guidelines Could Disproportionately Endanger Black Women)
