I understand the struggle, really, I do. But ask yourself: why would you have to be beautiful? Whether or not you are conventionally attractive does not influence your humanity, they do not influence your worth. I get the impression you (posted to Conflicts in my head.)

I'm just beginning to scale the academia ladder, with many years to go until I get my PhD, but already I've heard from one of my female colleagues that she felt discourged to go further. I never heard any coworker (posted to What do you do when other women deny sexism exists?)
"Australia" does a pretty good job of emulating Nicole Kidman's lusty gaze, which I appreciated... it's so unusual!
