This. We see this happen over and over again with Nice Guys (TM), where they reject women who aren't conventionally attractive and then moan about how women never want them! So by this logic, the only women who are women (posted to Pennsylvania shooter targeted women )
I actually appreciated the chance to write about some experiences of sexism because in real life I so rarely get to, or like Lily A said, people's eyes gloss over and they stop listening. Also in response to what you (posted to Response to Comments on my Question about Sexism)

Actually, I would say that this is not true of "mainstream" religion at all. Fundamentalist evangelicals are not the mainstream, nor do they represent the vast majority of people in this country. The Christian denominations that are actually considered "mainstream" (posted to Two problematic feminist memes I wish would go away)
