About keeping your legs together while sitting, I do this when I'm wearing skirt mostly for modesty, a personal decision really I don't see why girls can't show off their undergarments when men (well, boys) can wear their pants down (posted to Adventures in Taking Up Space)
I always sit with my legs wide open. As a rider, I have orthopedic issues with my back/hips/legs that make it literally painful to sit any other way. And I have gotten SO many comments about me "sitting like a (posted to Adventures in Taking Up Space)

This post made me think of how, because guys would always whistle at me or make comments too me, even in sweat pants, I developed a habit of slouching unconsciously. The same idea- to occupy as little public space as (posted to Adventures in Taking Up Space)
