While I disagree with Palin's politics, I agree with Jen that there are many resons that Palin was nominated. Even if she hasn't had a wealth of political experience, there are other politicians who have reached the same level with (posted to sexist cover, accurate headline)

I'm not a fan of Palin (UBER understatement), but this is (sadly) a textbook example on how our society views women in politics- compare this to how Hilary Clinton was depicted in the media. They're either too feminine (Palin) or (posted to sexist cover, accurate headline)
