Ann Friedman, Editor
Ann (27) is a born-and-bred Midwesterner who now lives in Washington, D.C. She is the deputy editor of The American Prospect, where she occasionally blogs for TAPPED. She was previously the Prospect's web editor, and has also worked at Mother Jones, AlterNet.org, Legal Momentum, and several local newspapers in Missouri and Iowa. She holds degrees in journalism and Spanish literature from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

- I started cutting my hair short as a freshman in college... it got super-short - 2 inches long - when I was a junior. I have a really little face and honestly, short hair looks better on me! I like (posted to Personal is Political: Chopping It Off)
