LGB issues are discussed every so often on this site. I've seen maybe like 3 trans posts and no intersex posts. I think most people on this site know at least one gay/lesbian/bi person. But how many of us know (posted to Coming Out as Transgender to Romantic Partners)

It's helpful to understand the larger context, too. Feminism has had a really problematic relationship with trans people for decades... ever since second wave feminism came into being during the 70s.
