Quick Hit: Houston Mayor proclaims first Transgender Day
In a celebration of the first anniversary of Houston's Transgender Center, Mayor Bill White proclaimed July 25 "Transgender Day" in the city.

This makes me proud to be a Houstonian. :D
Does anyone know if any other cities have made a Transgender day? I tried to find out but I only got info on Transgender Day of Remembrance (important but not what I was looking for).
