This is so, so beautiful. I've been reading this blog regularly for ages, but I'm not very comfortably with the whole internet interaction thing so I never think to comment...these photos brought a tear to my eye, though. I really, really appreciate all that you wonderful women are doing.
When Feministing started I was a sophomore in college, had no idea that blogs existed and was oh-so-far from my now political and outspoken self.
Happy Birthday and thanks for building this great community that I know get to be a part of!
I only wish I had a wonderful group of supportive women to be friends with. I have one good friend but I never get to see her since I'm not in college. I miss her terribly. I hope that I can create a network of fabulous women like this with the same beliefs and strong ambitions when I go to grad school.
Looking through those pictures, I think there were some of Jen (I'm pretty sure that was her name)? What happened to editor Jen?
Sadly, Jen left the site some time ago - we all miss her, tho!
