We damn well deserve it.
While many of you probably already know that Ben and Jerry's is giving away free ice cream tomorrow, prepare for an even bigger treat.
The fabulous sex toy store Babeland is planning to give away free silver bullets and sleeves to folks who come to New York or Seattle locations with voter registration card, voting stub, or word of honor. The giveaway love starts tomorrow and lasts all week long.
And what better during the insanity than a little self-indulgence? Add any other events/giveaways around the election in comments!

Starbuck's is giving away free coffees and Krispy Kreme, free donuts.
Um, can you say AWESOME! I already knew about Ben & Jerry's, but how freaking cool is Babeland? Who knew voting could be so much fun?!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who laughed when I saw the name of the sleeve they were giving away was "Maverick!"
And know, more than ever, I'm thinking of Obama as a silver bullet.
So glad I moved to Seattle! Finally a maverick I can feel good about getting into bed with. ;)
This is very local, but if you're in San Francisco, De La Sole is giving 10% off any 1 pair of shoes for having your "I voted" sticker, and another 10% if you affirm you voted for the "right" candidate. It's on 549 Castro Street. Gotta love the guy who owns this place -- at the bottom of their ad about the 20% off, it says "P.S. My daughter is tired of her 2 dads living in sin, so please vote NO on Proposition 8."
If you do got for the Babeland Silver Bullet, I highly recommend using it with condoms and lube. That hard plastic can get awfully hard to handle. Ouch!

I believe that the Krispy Kreme deal requires an "I voted" sticker, but Starbucks takes your word.
This is the only time you'll hear me say this, but damn compulsory voting in Australia! Free orgasims, yeas please!
*shaking head vigorously at the Babeland offer* Oiyoiyoiyoiyoiyoiyoiyoiyoiyoi...
Damn, Babeland's spending more per vote than the candidates! Or rather, the value's of the gift's more than what the candidates are spending per vote. But still.
Wishing I was American for a moment...
I don't feel too smart for voting absentee NY anymore. (Even though I *am* absentee NY.) Well, three cheers for Babeland/B&J anyway!
I knew Ben and Jerry were doing this, but Babeland? I didn't think I could love Babeland more, but I guess I was wrong. Let's hope my "guide to vote-by-mail" pamphlet counts; I've been wanting a silver bullet for a while.
Dang it. I wish I was voting in Seattle or New York.
Kenneth Cole has 44% off online and in stores today only.
I got my silver bullet - and my SO got his "maverick"! I heart Babeland! :)
Being creative is not the sine qua non of life. The reason it is so widely discussed is our period of transition and lack of settledness. Too many problems are not being solved. Until a new settlement emerges, where for instance individual values and economic purposes are aligned, things will remain up for grabs. Then the capacity to create, recreate and reimagine will remain at a premium. Seen thus, creativity is in essence the capacity to stand back and reassess.
I was voting in Seattle. So glad I moved to Seattle cvs
