Ad appearing on NYC subway, via bxlee.

The folks at Manhattan Mini-Storage, who we just love for their pro-choice ads that caused a ruckus a while back, now have an anti-Palin ad up in New York.

Gothamist has more.

Been loving these! Also the Bush "Did you misunderestimate your closet space?" ones. A cheap shot yes, but still entertaining. Their ads make me hate my morning commute marginally less.

that's so awesome an advertising agency would make something like that.

i don't have a closet and my closet's still not as limited as her experience relevant to leading this country.

I live in a small town in Virginia (part of the "real" America, har-de-har), and we have a lot of pro-McCain or anti-Obama business ads up. Interestingly, our local self-storage business has a sign out front that says "JOE THE PLUMBER WOULD STORE HERE"--making me not want to store there, to tell the truth.

Hey Tiffany - I feel your pain. I live in "pro-America" North Carolina *gag reflex*. I can't imagine the community "outrage" that would result from an anti-Palin ad, although I could totally see the Joe the Plumber one going over as "really clever" *gag reflex*.

ok...I don't know if I'm just incredibly tired or downright stupid...but I don't get this :S lol
could someone explain it to me? thanks :)

anjali_k: Basically, it's a stab at Sarah Palin. Her experience is limited, thusly, if your closet space is even more limited, then you must be in a dire storage predicament.

I

Ahem. That SHOULD have said:

I love these folks. The anti-choice button is a nice touch.

Now I get it. I saw that ad on the way home today and didn't get what it was talking about, because I completely didn't see the picture as Palin. But if that's supposed to be Palin, then it suddenly makes sense. (I though it was some sort of jab about anti-choicers not having much life experience, and thought it was pretty weak)

Fortunately, feministing is there to explain my commute...

Fortunately, New Yorkers tend to not notice anything odd, so when I first saw that and laughed uncontrollably while sitting on the train, I didn't even get a second glance.

I love their ads. The coathanger one is still my favorite, though.

Oh, and I have the smallest closet ever and I'm going to vote for her experience being more limited.

is this the same company that did the coathanger/abortion ad? i think i saw it here several years ago.

Excellent irony! The most important thing this pre-election stand opens all essence of the candidate for the president. Similar creations are placed not only across New York, and and in many American cities...
