This always kind of baffles me -- what percentage of the nation has a job where their salary is negotiable? As a university instructor (I work part-time in two different departments, so they equal full-time but come from two different pay sources), it's non-negotiable. We get paid the same itty-bitty amount - all of us.
I think this is a great idea
I like this idea... but it seems strange they would place it in the middle of a "work day" like that. I already have an 8-5, m-f job (though I'm about to leave it after the election), so it kinda doesn't work for me. It just makes me a little sad I won't get to take part :(. I know they can't make it work for everyone though.
Someone take notes and share with us! :D
Agreed, jennyolson--I'd love to attend, but I will be at work, in a meeting.
