hahahahaaaa. They look like aliens. With googly eyes. And the bikini bottoms are smiling mouths or something. It's so kitschy you've got to kinda love it.

The only thing that pisses me off more than sexism is lazy sexism. What strikes me about these things is how poorly made they are. The Japanese have been doing this sort of thing for a while now. For example, these, which are of far higher quality and also provide ergonomic wrist support.

This is certainly not as bad as those shirts that came out a while back saying "boys are stupid, throw rocks at them". Those were shameful.

Guys like sex. Big deal. Lets not make a big deal out of nothing.

I've honestly always thought that a mouse looked kind of like a cunt, with the scroll button being the clit. Looks like someone was trying a little too hard, in my opinion.

and about this awful mouse/pad combo, my boyfriend saw them on a forum last night and thought they were really funny and sent me the link. suffice it to say he got an earful about objectification of women and dismembered female body parts.

Anyway, who thinks this product is hot? The mouse looks like those mr/ms potato head toys. The purple nipples look more like eyes or daisies than nipples.

At least these depict more than one body type. One that is pear, or bigger on the bottom (mousepad), and one that is more narrow (mouse). Why do they bother with the underwear? So weird. On the link I found the photo of the finger poking the boob to be kinda funny because it was so weird looking. Maybe this is the closest some will get to touching breasts...

Lest we get diverted from the real issues by trolls, I must point out how these products, in addition to being sexist, really look anti-ergonomic. I am concerned about all the people who will get carpal tunnel syndrome in the intrest of objectifying women. It is one thing to get carpal tunnel from masturbation or something interesting like that, but computing with a dumb mouse? What a waste! Just one more reason why it is healthier to be a feminist!

Hey, I love men as much as I love women. Well, okay, I do more physical lovin' with men. Well, with one specific man. Though I also like... wait, what does this have to do with leadership or business qualifications?

@Alice: the "proper usage" diagrams for those Japanese products are amusing. And as well as being better made, the anime-lady mouse pads have faces.

bobbigrl, i think others have also stated this point, but i'll say it again. feminism is about the EQUALITY of the sexes, not enforcing that one is somehow superior to the other. so in other words, both men AND women should be "in control." you know, because both sexes are competant of that sort of thing and i love BOTH men and women.

I always wonder about the market for products like this. I've known some really immature little boys in my time (especially in my time working at a computer store), but despite their juvenile behavior and lack of experience with the real deal, I'm pretty sure none of them would have been caught dead with a product like this. So--gag gift maybe? I dunno.
