Ha! Of course they can't show you their forbidden interspecies love, let alone record it. My cat would hit my dog whenever he sniffed her butt.

Monty is behaving exceptionally well and needs to be congratulated. The cat looks decidedly uncomfortable, but Monty, bless him, makes a genuine canine attempt at making friends with her by sniffing her rear. Cats, unfortunately for him, just don't speak the same language...

Everywhere I look these days there's cats. My 13 year old cat was put to sleep because of a tumor on Thursday. I adopted a 7 month old kitten on Saturday and on Sunday I found a very young kitten in my window well. I took care of it last night but handed it over to the Humane Society today because I don't really know how to raise a kitten that young (it hasn't been weened yet). Also it needed to be checked for disease. If it's healthy they will put it up for adoption, this shelter is no-kill so I feel right about giving it to them.

I know I went OT but I really can't get my mind off the past few crazy cat-filled days I've had.
