Tuesday Monty Blogging (late edition)

I have to say, I like that I get chastising messages when I don't post a picture of Monty on Mondays, as I usually do. I know it makes Monty feel loved. ;)
So here you go folks, Monty as toga-wearer. (And I swear that's not staged.)

One of the cutest pictures I've ever seen !
I think Monty's about to bust out a haiku.
I was ome of the folks who missed Monty. With nine rescued Cats, I wou't be getting my own Monty anytime soon -- but, if I were to get a dog (to keep the Cats in order), it would be an Aussie.
They appear to be amazing family members.
Please do not forget -- Monty has a following!!
That's a lovely picture! My new fav!
I find it hilarious that an inordinate number of Monty posts feature Monty on what appears to be your bed. Or maybe it's his bed. I don't know why I assumed.

Monty is a family member. Many years ago, when I had my Sonja, the mixed breed wonder, there were pictures of us sleeping, spooning actually, very comfy and warm.
Today, it's the Cats who share our bed -- not all of them, but a few who just like to snuggle.
When I'm home alone, doing housework, I will carry on a running conversation with one or more of these little "furpersons" -- they follow me from room to room, and respond when it's appropriate.
Thanks for the weekly pics of Monty - I am definitely in the fan club. I'm sure that if my cats actually liked dogs, they would love Monty. And of course, thanks for all of you hard work at feministing.com - I just discovered it a couple of months ago and now I read it every day.
I'm trying to come up with an appropriately intellectual comment on composition and lighting and what kind of soft-focus filter you used.
Somehow it keeps coming out as "Oooh, immen't he a pretty boy, immen't he!"
