There is actually a funny saying that my husband and our male friends always use in response to the whole contraception=abortion argument. "Every time a man masturbates, Jesus kills a kitten." I think that sums up how that arguement feels most of the time.

On one hand, I'm absolutely delighted with this clip. The Pythons were brilliant, hilarious, and damn good critics of the world.

On the other hand, I'm infinitely depressed that "Every Sperm Is Sacred" has regained status as a political argument in this day and age. This generation needs us some of our own Pythons.

OMG, Ann I love you!! I had that song on the brain all morning, and then I go on Feministing and see that someone's posted it! Gotta get us all some Monty Python love. Actually, a certain presidential candidate could do with some Monty Python for the soul, that's why the guy's so bitter about women's rights...

I assume the sperm is supposed to look scared.. but it just looks like it's dancing and doing spirit fingers... it actually looks quite happy!

I'm pretty sure that if I quit then the chance of me murdering something other than my sperms would go up by a lot.

Concepts like "development of the people" sound suspiciously and indulgently. If to consider essential material requirements of all people from the point of view of the feministic approach, hardly probable it is possible to name any countries "developed". As I have considered all labels which it is generalised speak about different parts of the world, disputable, I use here concepts "western" or "industrialized" and “the third world”, instead of "developing" and "developed".
I travel, and not so long ago much, in New York have met one more example of mess in understanding of feminism. Two women just involved in movement of civil disobedience against the nuclear weapon, discussed feminism as the inducing force, standing up for their actions when the man has jumped up, impatiently objecting: “But I thought, that this meeting for disarmament, instead of feminism”. In its representation “to explain feminism in the face of nuclear destruction is to explain nonsense”.
