A quick note about ads
We know there are a couple of advertisements up right now that don't belong (cough, Dino Rossi, cough). We're working hard to get them down ASAP - thanks to everyone for the emails letting me know that they were there. Your support and concern about what goes on the site means a lot to all of the editors, and we take your input seriously.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled feminist blogging...

Thank you thank you thank you, Jessica. His smirky, self-righteous, pandering, smarmy face has been bugging me all day (while prepping for my trip to the polls.)
He's smiling at me right now! I think he would not be happy if he knew where he was, though... At least he is wasting a bit of his campaign cash, since it will not do him much good around here.
As much as I loathe Rossi, I have zero complaints about him advertising here; if he wants to waste his money on a demographic he's dnoe everything in his power to alienate, that's fine with me.
Thank you for getting rid of his face, it kept haunting me as got my daily dose of feminist blogging. Though it wasn't as bad as the Christmas card my Republican parents got from him a couple years ago.
I appreciate your prompt removal of the Dino Rossi ads. As a Washington State resident who is watching the results of the primary come in today (Gregoire 48.3% to Rossi 45.76%), I am glad to see that a blog that I live by has held strong by only advertising what they feel is ethical and moral. Let's all cross our fingers for the November Washington State Governor's election... :) And the many other incredibly important elections of course!
I love AdBlockPlus. I had no idea there even were ads on this site until I logged in from work one day. :)
