Well clearly he's just talking to feminist "criminals", so any law-abiding feminists should feel free to ignore this message.

Clearly this man has been treated as a wallet, and that is why he can't afford a decent Sharpie.

I'm actually impressed at how clearly he could write the amphisand with a second-rate texta on a curved surface.. clearly this guy knows what he's talking about :p

Now if only he had written "Crinimals" this would just be perfect! So close!

I want to reach through the screen and write, "Take your money and shove it up your ass."

Hahahahahaha!!!

The irony is that the last couple of GUYS I dated treated me as garbage and a wallet. All that time I never knew I was dating feminist criminals. Huh.

This would be so easy to countervandalize:

"MISOGYNIST CRIMIMALS STOP TREATING WOMEN LIKE GARBAGE"

It'd require a minimum of paint, even!

That's just silly. I don't treat men as garbage and wallets. Why would I keep my money in garbage?

I personally don't carry a man in my back pocket....

Nerdypants: muahahahahahahaha!

I shouldn't even have to say this...

Women who treat men as "garbage and wallets" are probably not feminists.

It's so weird, I've noticed that on some pro-feminist grafitti threads there's always someone wringing their hands over how wrong and evil grafitti is. Where are they complaining over anti-feminist grafitti?

So, feminists are fighting to end no-fault divorce? They're fighting for fathers to get default custody? They're fighting for mothers to move to their car so they can afford the child support?

That's fantastic news!

"So, feminists are fighting to end no-fault divorce?"

You'd rather return to the days when couples who wanted a perfectly amicable divorce had to fake affairs? You're silly.

"They're fighting for fathers to get default custody? They're fighting for mothers to move to their car so they can afford the child support?"

MRAs are fighting for men to be the default caregivers? They're fighting for better wages for women so that single or divorced mothers can better support their families on their own steam? That's fantastic news!

MRA's are fighting for men to have equal access to their children. See, that's what "equality" is.

If women made better wages, they'd be making more than men for doing the same work. How is that equal?

"MRA's are fighting for men to have equal access to their children. See, that's what "equality" is."

If that were the case, they wouldn't suggest that either sex be the default caregiver. You suggested that men be the default.

And I reiterate: if MRAs want more men to be given custody of their children, then they should encourage more men to be the primary caregivers of their children. That means doing the shit-work as well as the fun stuff.

So where are the MRAs telling men to do their full 50% of the parenting?

*crickets*

"If women made better wages, they'd be making more than men for doing the same work."

No, we want equal pay for equal work, equal promotions for equal effort, and equal opportunities for education and job training. See, that's what "equality" is.

Yes. As women are now. Having boobies doesn't make one the better parent.

Actually, I read an interesting article about that the other day. http://www.slate.com/id/2164268 "Surprise! Men Do Just As Much Work As Women Do." Sorry to disappoint.

No, we want equal pay for equal work, equal promotions for equal effort, and equal opportunities for education and job training. See, that's what "equality" is.

Congratulations! That's what we do have. It's called a "free market economy". That means, if women really could be paid less for doing the same work, we'd have oodles of unemployed men. Oh, and more women graduate from university than men, so there's that.

Won't someone please ban this KellyMac person?

But I just got here. Is that the best you can do? If your position is that weak, maybe you should just give it up.

Wait, wait, wait... aren't anti-feminists always complaining about how feminists are pushing women out of the home to get jobs and our own pay?
When did we begin saying women should take men's money?
Damn, I wish the anti-feminists would send me a weekly newsletter telling me what I believe in. I just can't keep up!

"...Having boobies doesn't make one the better parent."

I'd like to see him try breast feeding though. But seriously, why are we bringing up breasts?

"Congratulations! That's what we do have. It's called a "free market economy". That means, if women really could be paid less for doing the same work, we'd have oodles of unemployed men. Oh, and more women graduate from university than men, so there's that."

Simple. One of the foundations of a free market is the exchange of information. Without accurate information, the marketplace isn't exactly "free". So then I wonder why many employers have policies against their employees sharing salary information? Furthermore, consider the fact that many salaries are negotiated. Negotiation is not necessarily based on merit and can be influenced by any number or elements, some of which can be tied to gender.

Funny even the slate article points to the reality that women still do more work at home (called "homework" aka unpaid, undervalued, generally under appreciated labor) which in many cases includes primary child giving. There's really no way around addressing this point if we really want to have an honest discussion about child custody.

"Having boobies doesn't make one the better parent."

Who here said it did? No, seriously, I'd like a citation.

"Actually, I read an interesting article about that the other day... 'Surprise! Men Do Just As Much Work As Women Do.'"

Did you actually read that article, KellyMac? It says that in developed countries, "men average 5.2 hours of market work a day and 2.7 hours of homework each day, while women average 3.4 hours of market work and 4.5 hours of homework per day." In other words, the average male does more employed work and the average female does more unpaid housework -- same old same old.

Now, if you'd taken the time to find an article about how parenting work is parceled out, that would actually be relevant.

Also? I'm still waiting for you to show me a MRA promoting male child-care.

"Congratulations! That's what we do have. It's called a 'free market economy'."

So you're perfectly okay with the wage gap between the races, too, are you? You know, seeing as that's going on in a free market economy? Or is it somehow the fault of black and hispanic people that they're earning less? 'Cause if you read the data on the wage gap, that's something else that keeps coming up.

"But I just got here."

Yes, and you're clearly not interested in either educating yourself or in contributing anything helpful to the conversations. You're just here to pick fights and derail threads -- in other words, trolling. And while it may be fun to kick trolls around for a while, it'd be out of place on a major thread where most people are trying to make cogent points. So, you'll probably be gone by the time I log on tomorrow. Buh-bye.

Spike: if you haven't seen it already, there's a handy list of reasons for the wage gap* here. Wage secrecy is listed at the top.

*The page's language concerns mostly the gender gap, but at least 6/10 of the factors they list affect minorities, as well.

There is a very similar statement on a Canada Post box near Maple Leaf Gardens on Church Street in Toronto.
