This is already marked as one of my favorite sellers on Etsy! Although I can't afford to buy anything right now, when I can, maybe I will get something from this shop.

I just bought the red and grey stripey Angela Davis dress. Yay for me. Now fingers crossed that I didn't confuse myself with the difference between American/European sizes and it actually fits me. Or else my face will be like this :(

I'm just excited to see real women models. High fives all around.

I got really excited about the notion of a bell hooks shirt but then I realized it's kind of ironic considering the reason she writes her name in lowercase.

RE: bell hooks name

Lots of people have pointed that out to me that her name is all lowercase, if you look in the item descriptions, I do write her name in all lowercase. But for the listing title I put all the women's names in all caps, just a way to draw attention, it would look kinda weird if bell's was the only was not in all caps, so it's more of a style thing for the listing title, but in the descriptions I use all lowercase! :)

I should know this, what is the reason she writes her name in all lowercase?

and they have Emma Goldman shirts. YESSSSSSSS!

I've heard it's because she says the substance of her books is important, not who she is. Thus I think her writing her name in lowercase is supposed to sort of dissuade the fanaticism that gets attached to celebrities.

Given that I still think having a shirt of bell hooks would be really cool I'm not sure her plan works all that well.

This is great. I was just thinking when I saw the abstinence t-shirt post earlier, that even if the t-shirt was wrong, their ideals were making their way into fashion and so should ours.
