Stay classy, Fox News
Thanks to reader Monica who alerted us to this liberal comedian (I can't catch his name, anyone know who he is?) who goes off on Fox News during an interview, it's pretty awesome - but what really got me is what comes immediately after it.
Amazing.

Oh. My. God. Truth is better than fiction - that juxtaposition was hilarious. Too bad the liberal comedian dude was basically incoherent, but the clip after him pretty much illustrates his point perfectly.
Goodness...with the follow up story that's like something out of a family guy episode...
The best part is how dumbfounded the host is- the only response is clearly fed to him.
Fox News: where you get all the news. (*Except the kind we don't like. Then we censor you out and jump to clips of attractive women to divert your attention!)
LOL, that's all I can say. I am blessed to not have the option of FOX news on cable. Yay for neutral (or almost neutral) news stations!
The comedian is Lee Camp, you can check him out at leecamp.net
Yep, the comedian is awesome, but how they followed that up is exactly why I sent it in! Thanks for posting. :D
a million iraqi's dead.....
let's talk about captain kirk!
I wanted to see the full interview, but instead I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AhLG2Fo4HM
Trigger warning: incredibly stupid & sexist.
The hypocrisy meter just broke.
Oh god, the ell oh elling.
"Uhhh....uhhh.... Look! Boobies!"
What I really like is what the woman is trying to say over him. "I..I love Fox news, I think you need to...what we should be more worried about is that Hilarry Clinton is running..."
Uhm. what the hell did that have to do with what the guy was saying? xD
Hey Fox News viewers, buy this book by a guy who played a fictional character on a show with another guy who played another fictional character who was good at picking up fictional female characters on that show. In space.
LMAO @ nerdalert. That's pretty much what I was thinking. Talk about a 'parade of ignorance.'
And I don't think the comedian would have been incoherent if the two other people on the show hadn't, in trademark Fox News fashion, been stuttering and grumbling over him.
This clip is so insane... esp since they tried so hard to cut him off like they were gona start talking about the "important" issues... loco!
That and DeForest Kelly aka Bones has been dead for almost a decade...Good to know Fox News has given up facts entirely.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
That was awesome. The anchor's face was priceless, you could see him panicking internally, worried that any second the FauxNews police force is gonna spring on him and spank him for not putting a muzzle on his guest faster.
Did he say the book was written by Dr. McCoy? DeForest Kelley is definitely dead.
Even beyond the brilliance of this clip (for nothing could possibly illustrate Fox News better than that segue) is the bit about Bones writing a new book...
Hate to break it to you, fellas, but Deforest Kelley (Bones, from Star Trek) has been dead for 9 years. Oops?
I'm pretty sure I've seen this posted here before.
YAH! Its about time someone even broached the subject on the enemys turf.
WE NEED NEW AND BETTER QUALITY MEDIA!
Not this propoganda crap spewed out by the major media channels thats seen by millions of unaware Americansm, that are simply used as vehicles to embody their personal backward opinions. Faux News is simply a cheap excuse for the Faux News owners to cover for their need to maintain and reinforce the social indoctrination of sexism, racism, and homophobia. The public needs to be aware of it.
Hey, this is Lee Camp - the comedian in the clip. Thanks for having me on your site. It's a pleasure. Let's all keep spreading the truth about Fox News and hopefully turn this country around. By the way, if you feel like it, check out my other activist comedy videos at www.LeeCamp.net and www.YouTube.com/LeeCamp. Thanks again.
Okay, it's apparently by some guy whose nicknamed "Bones" who isn't DeForest Kelley and has no other tie that I can see to ST. Your basic PUA type crap being marketed to nerds, it looks like.
Feministing Contributors:
I would like to ask you to re-think using the word "Classy" in using sarcasm to insult entities such as Fox News. While fox news sucks, those of working class backgrounds do not. Classism is, after all, one of the isms, and as feminists, we should strive to subvert class as an oppressive form of power.
Thanks,
Linzey
Linzey, are you serious? Classism is totally separate from the notion of classy. Classism is derived from circumstances beyond a person's control, and should be fought against. To be classy is to strive within yourself to be a decent, kickass person.
At least that's what I think.
Honestly, I really think you're attitude is an extreme overreaction.
Linzey,
I have a teeshirt from the early 80's that says, "Stay Classy, Oldies 89.5!"
Shall I burn it as an effigy to the gods of fairness and equality? Or should I rock it like it's hot because it's a purple ringer tee from the 80's? Decisions, decisions....
Bones wrote a book? They mean DeForest Kelly wrote a book? He's been dead for years! How dare they reduce Star Trek to Kirk seducing women. It was a great show! >:[
