Brava!
The community blog is looking awesome, make sure to check it out and let us know how the experience is. I was particularly taken with this post today by zohramoosa. Great job, all!

I liked the post, but is this a good place to put a comment about the formatting of the new community site? For those of us who don't view the site full-screen (and prefer tiny little boxes in the corner of our screens for discrete at-work reading :) ), it's kind of impossible to read, as all the words squish over to one side.
Speaking of: I'm not sure how the post-pending system works. Do you the mods have to review first? I was wondering because I wrote up a long post and hit submit, and it hasn't appeared yet. Other posts have appeared since, though. Do you know what might have happened?
roro8080, I'll pass your notes on to our developer to see if he has any advice.
Rebecca - yes, since anyone can post we need to moderate for now - I'm going through at the moment and freeing some posts up! Hopefully we'll find a quicker system (like "trusting" folks in the system who have posted before) very soon. Thanks!
It would be great to allow preview/editing before submitting a community blog post.
The layout looks really screwy on my browser here at work. I keep forgetting to check it at home on FireFox, though.
I logged in and it said that I don't have permission to post. How can I get me some of that?
Unfortunately people who are trying to set up a new profile with their old user name won't be able to, we're working hard to fix this. So as of now, only new profiles created can post on the community blog. Check out comments in our community beta site launch post for more info.
There are also issues with the site that require that posts be moderated, or they open themselves up to some nasty security issues. (XSS attacks)
The developer already has my feedback on the XSS issues, but is there any way you could point out that the links at the bottom of the front page to look at older posts on the front page don't work.
