This reminds me of a conversation with my Mother the other day. I was down with how patriarchal things are because I would want to work on ships/freighters in the Great Lakes. I realized this is primarily a male dominated occupation. In reply to this she said, "this is a woman's world!" Encouraging me that working on ships would be such a cool thing! How awesome!

PS, what happened to the Flickr images on the right hand side? Did I miss a post about why they are no longer there?

I like the fact that she's working the bush not the hollywood :)
