Since you guys first linked to this it's been my FAVORITE youtube video, precisely because of the "she keeps her own name!" line.
I'm engaged and keeping my own name and it is all I can do to not exclaim "I'm keeping my own name, motherfuckers!" whenever someone gives me a hard time about it. This video always brightens my day.

I love it when people apply theory to media, I find it intensely interesting.
is it just me, or is anyone else getting a still image of a blonde woman in front of some swastika flags before they press play on the video?
i can't figure this out. i watched the vid, as normally the screen caption they use before you press play is from the video you're about to watch.... yet there are definitely no blonde girls with swastikas anywhere in the video. this has happened to me a couple of days in a row, and i'm a little weirded out by it. i'm house-bound and paper-writing, but i haven't gone totally stir-crazy yet! anyone else know what i'm talking about?

Actually there IS a "blonde girl with swastikas" in the video. It's at the part in the video where they're talking about one of the ghosts having it's name changed from Clyde to Sue because "every Gloria Steinem needs her Ann Coulter". The blonde is Ann Coulter, the woman in the Playboy bunny suit is Gloria Steinem.
sarahp, the blonde woman is Ann Coulter. And the picture is used in the video when the narrator says "And since every Gloria Steinem needs her Ann Coulter..." at 1:29.
whoa, i remember 'inky, blinky, pinky and sue'... yet have no recollection of anne coulter and swastikas. perhaps i should be grateful for that gap in memory. ;-)
That was so fucking awesome! I wouldn't mind keeping my own last name once I get married, but I wouldn't mind taking my fiance's last name because it is SOOO much easier to pronounce and spell than mine is, because frankly I am so sick of spelling out my 14 letter last name...
