We're on our way to WAM!

At least give us the Friday Feminist Fuck You, okay? :-)
Have fun, Jessica! Don't let Boston... um... feed you too many beans!
I've got nothing.
Welcome to Beantown, ladies!!
Even if I can't be there to greet you myself, as I am a poor college student.
Alas, my Saturdays are eaten by a class at Mt. Holyoke. Plus WAM! falls on the same weekend as my mom's yearly visit. So ordinarily here I'd be begging for a meet-up, but I don't think my mom enjoys cocktails quite as much as I do...
Welcome to Boston! I'll be at WAM! for my second year in a row...I can't wait! Hope to meet you all...

Any professional field coins a technical language that justifies its existence and operations and gives the impression of specialization and exclusivity. But such language can act as a smokescreen to hide the fact that nothing is there or that something very insubstantial is. If you translated some jargon into plain English, it would come out as mundane truisms. It is often tautological or plain banal.
Clearly ‘when you have new problems and want to conceptualize them, you create new language … but was it worth getting rid of poverty in favour of social exclusion, when no-one really understood what it was… and why get rid of social justice?’
