Cool, but you might want to mention that it starts automatically with volume. : ) For those with desk jobs...
I love when she takes down the pics in the phone booth that objectify women. Good video.
Here's a question/issue I have noticed and would love to see people comment on. Why is it that we are good feminists when we oppose ads that objectify or exoticize women and ethnic groups but we are bad feminists if we oppose stripping and prostitution, which objectify women and exoticize women?
I don't like stripping, I'm not saying it should be illegal, if you want to objectify yourself, have at it. But I still think it is damaging to women and a reallyl unfortunate career choice. And I think it is great to reach out to sex workers to provide them with health resources, but I do not agree with the idea that prostitution should be legalized. I think there are a lot of desperate women out there and don't think they should be thrown in jail. Just the Johns. What do y'all think? I'd love to hear some discussion of this paradox. When is something "sex positive" and when is it objectifying and exoticizing, in your opinion?
well, maybe I should have scrolled down more on the main page, as this is addressed somewhat in a different thread. But if you want to answer my question here, too....
