I will have a super fun feminist day! I wish I could do more, but the weather in Rochester is heinous.

Oh, oh! If you're in Rochester, The Vagina Monologue is also tonight! I'm supposed to be there as a volunteer, but as Cadmium.Elise said, the weather is shit and I live 45 minutes away. But it's being sponsored by Planned Parenthood of the Rochester/Syracuse region and the money is going to fund our Rape Crisis Services. Tickets are still available at the door. I saw part of the cast put on A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer last week, and they were amazing. If you can, go!
I came across a rather sad blog, supposedly written by a 16 year-old African-American girl living in Chicago (I say supposedly only because sometimes people turn out to not be what they say they are).
Anyway, I find it sad because she's completely buying into the BS of anti-feminism.

Happy IWD to all of the amazing women of feministing! My awesome feminist partner and I were GOING to go to the big march in downtown Toronto, but unfortunately, the weather is so bad here as well that we had to stay in. Harumph.
