Tested. Ready. Now.

Does anyone else see pictures of Rudy Giuliani in front of his campaign slogan:

rudytestedreadynow.JPG

...and think, so he's declaring to the electorate that he's STD-free and ready to jump in the sack? Maybe its just me with my dirty mind. But given the man's history, that's probably not so crazy.

Also, when I ran this theory by Jessica, she replied, "It actually sounds a lot like a blind date i had once." HA!

Sad thing is, I totally wasn't joking.

Can. I. Call. A. Moratorium. On. Using. Periods. To. Emphasize. Words. PLEASEFORTHELOVEOFGOD?

But I agree. Either that or he's about to launch some nukes. Someone must be on the rag! ;)

Human Bean- BEST. MORATORIUM. EVER.

I know he isn't a good person. Like, at all. And I still love one opponent who claimed every sentence of his consisted of a noun, a verb, and 9/11.

But still - why is sexism okay when it's coming from feministing and directed at a dude?

We see Ghouliani the way some people see Clinton, so why is it okay to jump on others for trying on their sexism schtick, but it's okay to give it a pass here?

Just saying there might be another way to draw attention to his general creepiness without jumping on the sexist bandwagon.

Colddaye,

I agree. I also got an sexist, anti-men impression from the post.

It's disappointing because it detracts from the critically-important values otherwise espoused on the site.

Oh please, how in the world is this sexist and anti-men? Come on now.

I really have no idea how this post would be sexist and anti-men. It's just a more humorous interpretation of what Guiliani's slogan might (but obviously doesn't) mean.

Human Bean:
I wholeheartedly agreee with the moratorium for overusing periods for emphasis. It hearts my eyes!

Haha, that's totally what I thought upon reading it. I mean, that's the only way it's even coherent -- otherwise, he's just sort of listing adjectives that just happen too (allegedly) apply to him.

er, and by "too" I mean "to." D'oh.

Oops! I mean it hurts my eyes. The cold has rendered my fingers too stiff to type.

If clinton had that stupidass slogan I'd laugh at it too. not sexist or anti-man.

I wonder if Giuliani's STD test was paid for with his infamous shag fund.

Looks like someone's done recharging...

It's not anti-men, it's anti-stupid-slogan.
