Wow. In just one week we raised $7,231. That's incredible. So, we made this little video thanking all of you.
Ann, Courtney and Celina thank you too, they just didn't make the cut to be in the video (kidding!)

Clearly, we, the readers, forgot that the goal was 5000 dollars and we contributed 5000 Euros instead. Or we were afraid that you did not take the reduced value of the dollar into account when you posted the goal.
Perhaps you are still ca. 100 Euros short?
PS. I felt a bit guilty for posting long-winded or excessively snarky comments, so I had occasion to channel this feeling.

I'm glad you made your goal so quickly, and with extra to boot! I can't wait for the changes to go into effect. This site has helped me in my journey into feminism more than I can begin to tell. Thank you all for doing all you do!
It's great that people were able to dig deep and give for something so worthy, but now that the goal has been met, maybe readers could be reminded that Pretty Bird Woman House still needs help? They're at 63% of their goal, last I checked, and they've put a low bid on the house they want. It would be so wonderful and amazing if we could help them get to at least 80% by Christmas.
Hey, speaking of tech. support - if anyone here is using my greasemonkey killfile script, be aware that although it will probably break when Feministing upgrades, I will be watching and will fix it as soon as I can see what the html looks like on a page with a few comments.

That is really awesome, but I was hoping to see a video of the happy happy joy joy dance there was mention of doing previously.
I thought the thank you email I got after donating was a nice touch. It always makes me want to donate to something again when it actually seems like the piddly amount I can afford to give is appreciated.
