Thanks Feministing readers!

We're nearly at 4k! If we hit our goal of 5k for the upgrade, I will literally do this dance around my apartment. (Also, I miss Ren and Stimpy.)

But you've got to promise you'll record yourself doing it and post it on here for us! :)

^Agreed. However, it might not be a good idea to hit yourself on the head with a hammer.

Ooohoho my god! I LOVED Ren & Stimpy as a kid. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. That, and the show w/ Ernest.

LOL! I miss Ren & Stimpy too!!

And I second Xana's suggestion, Jessica! ;) (I bet you do an AWESOME Happy Dance!)

Poor ol' Stinky Whizzleteats, brought down in a hail of gunfire.

Yeah, Jessica you MUST put up the video!

P.S. That was fun!

Flash is disabled at my work computer, and I got this instead:

So Spaß!

Awesome!
As an aside, Ren and Stimpy was kind of ruined for me after I found out what a horrific asshole the creator was.

Sample from his blog:

He also blames the hostile takeover of his cartoon on "dykes" and "hippy lady bosses". Poor baby.

Promise to film it for our delectation? :D

I'll take it under advisement. ;)

"The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly."

Truer words have never been spoken;).

And I still love Ren and Stimpy. Bought all four seasons. Though the adult version of R&S that was on Spike wasn't nearly as good.

Am I seriously the only one who was scared shitless of Ren & Stimpy as a kid?

fatsweatybetty, I thought I was the only one! D:

I'm third! You know, I was just really freaked out when Ren would go into those psychotic episodes on the show. It terrified me as a kid.

And to Jessica - are you suprised at what an awesome donation response the site has received? We love Feministing like we love - well, things we love a lot. (Couldn't think of anything that would apply to everyone.)

Anyway, I'm thrilled with the prospect of the new site changes!

I've always found R&S to be so creepy. They'd always be on TV when I was around five or so. Now, I'm a few months shy of eighteen and I still find them frightening!

My high school homeroom buddy was a big fan of R & S. For some reason, I never quite cared for them one way or another.
