I was going to go vote, but I just have a question about this quote from the vote page:
"Young women are rarely given the opportunity to speak on their own behalf on issues that affect their lives and futures. Feministing provides a platform for us to comment, analyze and influence."
Um, why is it only young women? Are the "young" women the only ones Feministing are concerned about? I find that a little disheartening...
Just looking for clarification.
Of course we care about women at any age! The "young" thing comes in because this site was founded by young women who felt the mainstream feminist movement wasn't really listening to young women--so we created the site where young women had a platform. So while the writers here are young (tho I'm not feeling such these days!), we certainly don't only focus on issues affecting young women--that's just the lens we bring to the table.
I really hope that feministing wins the "best political blog" catagory. Those other two dudes in the top three are ass-hats.

Hey! I voted and noticed that feministing is also fourth in the "worst blog of all time" category. WTF?? I think angryharry.com should be nominated in that category and a massive campaign launched to vote them into first place! I hate angryharry! And I'm also annoyed that they are in the top of the political blog category.
I thought that too iheartben, are they SERIOUSLY in the top 3?????
