Wow, Mr Cru and I did a song about sex ed in our show Sing-Along-A-The-Joy-Of-Sex in the edinburgh festival this year. I'm not sure it's the kind of thing they're looking for though. Also we're too old. Boo.

Thanks for the heads up, Vanessa! I think I may enter :)

Dang- I'm 32. That puts me right out. I call ageism!!! XO

Wow - I'd love to hear the song about sex-ed :)...maybe it needs to be our theme song when we present the winners in January at a San Fran conference!! I'm helping to organize the contest for RH Reality Check. We'd love to have made the contest an open forum but it's geared towards younger people whose voices tend not to get heard in this overly politicized debate!! I wish we could accept all of your creating & amazing contributions. Feel free to pass along to the younger folks though...

I'm happy to see this topic being brought up and addressed and I'm outraged at the schools across the nation that still teach abstinence in high school health classes. It seems to me that those who believe in teaching only abstinence in schools are driven by their religious values. Why isn't anyone bringing in the aspect of separating church and state in this case? Parents are idiots if they honestly believe that scaring students with talk of STDs and pregnancy will really help solve these issues.
