He already pooped on my floor, but I really don't mind...

Gimmee!!!

Cuteness!

Haha! Adorable! Congratulations! I expect lots and lots of photos so that I can vicariously experience the joy of having animals our circumstances forbid.

Aw, he's cute . . . for a dog ;)

Too F'in cute Jessica!

I'm not normally a pet person, but man, that is fricken adorable!

Awwwwww! I am so jealous, you have puppy breath! My Lola is almost a year old so she now has dog breath.

Welcome to the "I love Aussies" club. He is a cute one. Please tell us his name.

Oh sorry! It's Monty...

Hardwood floors rock. Especially if you have a puppy.

He's cuteness itself.

Oh cute! Makes me want a puppy. But I've already got two cats that pee all over everythng, so...

I love his spotted nose! I just want to kiss it!

Now I want to go give my dog a kiss, but he's sleeping under the table with his big pillow, so I won't bother him.

I say your little puppertay should be signed up as our animal mascot! Too cute. Look at those crystal eyes!!!

Cute Overload does Chez Valenti - I'm jealous!

Cats rule and dogs drool! ;)

That is a very nice picture, though. I'm a cat person, but I still like dogs.

Would it be wrong to post a comment about the appearance of the human as well as the appearance of the puppy in the photograph? ;)

awww...i am normally not a dog person...but those blue eyes got me! good thing my landlord doesn't allow them! congrats! nice pick!

I really think you should submit him to The Daily Puppy website. He's so adorable!

Yay puppy!!

I'm very suspicious of all these "not a dog person" peeps. Monty should be the Feministing mascot.
Be glad you have hard wood floors. Much easier to clean pee and poop off hard wood than cream colored carpeting. Grrr.

He's cute.

FYI - pink noses are susceptible to skin cancer. So put some sunscreen on his nose when he's out.

He's absolutely stunning! More pictures please!

Congrats! Mine just had his first birthday and is still my favourite thing, he's my baby!

Awwwwwwwwwwww......

I second the thank goodness for hardwood floors... I can't believe that Monty is even cuter now. Love the freckles!

I for got to ask, what breed (or mix of breeds) is he?

OK, how can anyone look at a face like that and not be a pet person?

When a dog does it, it's cute; when *I* do it...

SarahMC, I'm with you -- I think I automatically connect better with avowed "dog people." It's kinda like, if someone loves dogs, you know there's gotta be SOMETHING good about them. Dogs are crazy intuitive about people.

Jessica, welcome to the dog-mommy club! Monty is ADORABLE. It's a good thing you're on the opposite coast from me because I might be tempted to snerch him away! :0)

oooooh! He's darling! Such knowing eyes!
Yes, he should be our mascot.

I agree with SassyGirl. Puppy breath is best. Now that she's 4, my pug's breath smells like a fart.

Indeed, welcome to the dog-mommy club! It's pretty much the best club ever. But you'll see...

My mind just went blank and all I can think now is: "ahhhhhh how cute!!!!"

Aww, Monty gets a snorgling! He is too too f'n adorable.
