This joke site from Australia, the Worldwide Organisation For Men Exhibiting Nanciness, is the epitome of anxious masculinity.
Welcome… Maybe you had trouble understanding the difference between a V8 and flat 6. Perhaps you bought just a few too many hair products. Whatever the case, you acted in a distinctly unmanly way. And you grew yourself a nice little pair of Man Cans.Don’t say we didn't warn you.
If you’re visiting this site, you’ve made the right move. The first step is always the most difficult and acknowledging the problem is crucial. Man Cans or, more importantly, the unacceptably soft behaviour that causes them, is something we all have to prevent.
There's even a little video that follows, showing a guy who dares to cry at a movie suddenly growing a pair of breasts. Because what better way to punish a man than to feminize him? After all, there's nothing worse than being a woman. (I would argue it's better than being crushed by a giant beer can, but that's just me.)
What's equally as baffling is the amount of work put into this site, and it's parody sister sites Man Can Do, Man Tape, and Bra Bro. Seriously. Happy Friday, folks.

Boobs are the antithesis of personal strength? I thought they just diminished mental acuity. Boobs are very influential.
It's not strictly speaking related (except by way of stupidness), but my wife got dragged into a religious discussion the other day by some guy on campus where she works.
His opener was to observe, of two women walking across the quad holding hands, "I know God says it's wrong, but it's still hot."
It was this attitude that prevented the intended "Take Our Sons Home Day" - men told the feminist group behind it that such a day would *punish* their sons.
If men had breasts, would high quality bras be cheaper?
Could it be any more obvious how much these jerkwads hate women? Having female characteristics is the lowest of the low, in their eyes. This kind of ruined my day.
It is tasteless, but I don't know if I buy that the message is that turning into a woman in the worst thing in the world. When people accuse strong women of having penises, it often isn't complimentary.
Actually people will accuse women (esp feminists) of WANTING penises. You know, because that's understandable. But it's not understandable that a man would WANT to be a woman because women are less than...
I'm going to second Jessica. It's completely understandable in the society that we have that no one would WANT to be a woman. Men like to bitch and moan that women have more rights, etc, etc. and we have all the power cause we're the sexzee and men can't help but go brain dead at the sight of teh boobies, HOWEVER, if you ask any man to trade so he can have all the "power" women have they'd probably laugh in your face because deep down they know the truth, they just doesn't want to admit it. It's the same thing I got when white kids at my liberal college would complain that black students got/get special treatment and are held "above" whites. All you had to do was ask, "So would you be black then? For all those special "privileges" and that would shut them up but quick.
It's like that saying someone brought up a while back, and I'm paraphrasing: "It's hard to be on a pedestal when you're at the bottom of a hole."
It ain't the same thing, bobvis. When men are accused of having feminine qualities, the accusation is contemptuous. Often, when women are accused of having male qualities, the accusation is made with hostility and animosity, but also with begrudging respect.
This says something about maleness and femaleness.
Peepers: Oh so true, and the roots go way back. "Virtue" is more or less a direct transliteration of the Latin word "virtus", which meant "manliness."
It's interesting that the site has "oh, just you wait until this big announcement/new product line on Sept. 2" placed strategically all over it. Looks like a viral marketing effort to me.
When I started to grow man-boobs, I exercised and ate better. Who knew all I had to do was stop crying at movies?
What's funny is that I remember seeing a male comedian do a whole routine on how he wished he had breasts. The joke was that he would spend all his days at home playing with them and looking at them. All the men in the audience seemed to laughingly agree with him.
So, it's either they are to be wanted for sexualization or hated to feminizing aspects. It seems either way the breast can never just be something in and of itself.
I just read this really fascinating book by Merlin Stone, When God Was a Woman, on the history of Goddess worship and the repressioin of female-oriented religion by patriarchal societies. And this whole "nothing worse than being a woman" thing reminded me of a quote from the book. Apparently there's this Hebrew prayer that says, "Blessed Art Thou O Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has not made me a woman."
Below it was a quote from Mohammed: "When Eve was created, Satan rejoiced."
Not to go bashing Jews, Christians, or Muslims, but that shit just pisses me off. Anyway, read the book, it's informative and short and femi-tastic. It will make you proud of your clitoris.
Not like this is new. When Alan Turing ceased to be useful enough to the British government after WWII, he was outed and convicted of sodomy. Part of his "treatment" was to undergo hormone therapy (against his will) to de-gay him, one of the side effects being that he grew breasts. He became a pariah as a result of the conviction, as well as being made a physical deviant in the eyes of society.
Often, when women are accused of having male qualities, the accusation is made with hostility and animosity, but also with begrudging respect.
Good point.
What bugs me is when women exorcise their sexual power over insecure men by calling the man's sexuality into question. Of course she knows there's nothing shameful about female anatomy, but that's not the point, is it? She knows that he is insecure, and he will do anything to prove it.
Well, John Dias, feminist women are not the type to do something like that.
Most of us are accepting of homosexuality and don't consider "you're gay" an insult.

I found this on YouTube today:

It is sort of germane to this article, since it pertains to social perceptions of sexual anatomy and the intendant insecurities people feel. Have a laugh.
My guess is that it's for some incredibly masculine drink that real men will be able to slam down in one hit. It may possibly be named 'Extreme Balls'. Wait - that would be gay. Probably then, it will be named 'Boobs are for Sucking Not Boasting'.
