Every sperm is sacred

What's the best way to protest both women's bodily autonomy and the rights of gay couples to civil-unionize?

Clearly, it's to do an interpretive dance dressed as sperm.

I needed that laugh today--thanks Ann!

OH WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE SPERM!11!!

Oh man. The cause is damned lame but I think they are on to something. There should be more protests where people dress up as bodily functions/anatomical parts set to interpretive dance to protest whatever cause.

Shh! We don't want anti-abortionists to get any ideas! LOL Dancing fetuses anyone? Ewwww. Now dancing vaginas, that would be cool.

I'm picturing a national tour: The Vagina Lady with special guests The Dancing Sperm.

I feel slighted.

When do we get a period parade?? Can't let those eggs go to a bloody waste, ladies!!

I want people dressing up like used tampons, dammit!

I want more pictures of this!! I'd make it my background! LMAO!! Who thinks shit like this up? Those are some blackmail photos for later, kiddies!! Awesome, I don't care WHAT the message was supposed to be, this is comedy! Way to go Puerto Rico!

TLF, you dress like a tampon (applicator optional), I'll dress like a pad (with wings, of course). All we need are two other people to represent diva cups and luna pads and we're good to go. The 2007 Menstral March shall be underway! YAY!

That should me menstrual. Ugh.

I promise I can spell.

By far the gayest anti-gay dance I have ever seen.

Is there video? Please say there's video. I have Meaning Of Life on DVD; I can rip the song and put the sound in!

um, i just
don't.
get.
it.
lol

This is truly a protest with spunk.

Hilarious.

I would totally perform in the menstrual show. My dream role is to dance as the big, smiley uterus. However, I think I have what it takes to be an inspiring and relate-able tampon or pad.

Can I just wear something red and flowy and dance around between you all?

Peepers: If you want to dance as a big smiley uterus, I suggest you take a page from one of the biology teachers at my high school. She taught the parts of the female reproductive system by standing up in front of the class and holding her arms up: her hands were the ovaries, her arms the fallopian tubes ... I know it traumatized a good many boys who wound up in her class. :D

To be creative means being alive with possibility and not ossifying and resting on the laurels of former greatness or a single building. Paris and London achieve being both old and somewhat young. Through their imperial pasts they have extracted wealth and resources from their former dominions. Their museums – the Louvre or the British Museum – exemplify this. Abundant with treasures taken in from the world they exude power and help reinforce that power today as an element of their global pull.
Political power linked to economic power often force-feeds creativity as these cities became poles of attractiveness for the ambitious, the talented or those wanting or needing to be near the centres of power.
