Drawing is fun. (Especially when it's the internal clitoris)

Damn, I love me some Betty Dodson.

aw, hey, look, the urethral opening over the vaginal opening looks like a little smiling cyclops! awww.

awesome video.

You know, despite all the feminist-I-love-my-vagina stuff, I know very few women who are sexually confident about the appearance of their vagina. Personally, I am still yet to allow my boyfriend of four years see me naked in the light.

This is something that should be shown in sex ed. classes. I thought my sex ed. in high school was excellent but adding videos such as this one would make it that much better.
I know they're still fighting for abstinence only education in the US, which is absolutely mind boggling to me (I'm Canadian).

This "internal clitoris" stuff was completely news to me, and I'm almost 35 years old. Thanks for sharing it!

YouTube's been yanking medical/explicit clips, according to Techdirt, I think. Wonder how long that clip will stay up?

Nice clip...

That was fantastic! I already sent it to my soon-to-be lover (I hope), becuase I was trying to describe to him that the clitoris has "roots" (or, as BD explains, is like a wishbone).

And to ikkin: That just makes me sad. I hope someday soon you come to a place where you let your boyfriend (who clearly loves you if you've been together for four years) see you in all your glory!

Ha! I liked that! I loved her little comments.. "Oh I just can't control myself!"

Very informative indeed. Shame girls are not taught about their body and that they should enjoy it.

Me too! I mean, we got the contraception/anatomy classes for years (age 12->15), and I'm so grateful we've never had to fight for it, but we never touched on stuff like this.

I honestly didn't know where my clitoris was until I was about 18. :P

Amazing video. And she ends with a piece of art. :) lovely.

thank you for this wonderful video. I really have to translate a few words, translate the article, and link it in my blog (I'm french)
"clitoris envy" :o)) sounds great !

It *is* something that should be shown in sex ed classes. (I even remember the exact video they could replace: the one where they interview the boys and ask them what they'd do if they had their period and it showed through their pants.)

I love the finished piece as much as the process. :)

And to IamKateness-- I'm Canadian as well and I had abstinence only sex ed. To really drive the point home we got shiny pencils that pointed out "Chastity Is My Choice".
