Man, I must have been really tired when I first read that.
I thought it was Barbies instead of Babies.
I'm no constitutional scholar, but I'd think that bill would be obviously unconstitutional. The 14th amendment is pretty clear: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
great article. Scary that nutjobs want to go and tinker with the 14th amendment in order to legislate their racist phobias. Yes, that would be a 139-year old amendment that's suddenly no good. Idiots.
