Shameless self promotion

Check out Single State of the Union: Single Women Speak Out on Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness, and not just because I have an essay in it. (As do Margaret Cho, Rachel Kramer Bussel and a ton of other cool ladies.)

I just finished buying this on Amazon.com and am so excited to read it. It will go perfectly next to my copy of Betsy Israel's Bachelor Girl.
So would you care to share your essay with us? or at least tell us what it's about, besides the obvious? Puhleeeeze!?!
I'm not especially impressed with the cover. Why does lipstick symbolize single women every-frigging-where?
But it's a minor transgression. Way to go.
this might be splitting hairs, but isn't margaret cho married?
ah ok, looking at the description they mention "some formerly single" women. isn't everyone who's married "formerly single"?
but even as a formerly single woman, it looks like an interesting read.
