People with eating disorders need help, they don't need to be called bitches or any other names, particularly sexist ones and particularly by feminists.

We shouldn't "blame" skinny people just as we shouldn't blame housewives, sexworkers, transfolk, etc.

OK, now that I'm done being serious, wouldn't skinny people be less likely to hold up the subway? I mean, the train can hold more of them and they won't get stuck in turnstiles or closing doors.

a_human, I took the reference to be sarcastic. Samhita's not saying "I hate skinny chicks." She's being tongue-in-cheek (unlike Messica, whose tongue is very much out of her cheek) :)

Check out this language from the gawker post: "one of the possible reasons for the interminable wait for your train: chicks on diets." Seems to me gawker's the one to chide here (for vilifying victims of eating disorders and for stereotyping them as a strictly female problem), not Samhita.
